KOBA's objectives are centred around its core values of charity and self reliance, and these include:

  • To promote the general welfare of Kutama College and its students
  • To foster good fellowship among all Kutama College Old Boys (alumni) and to maintain their interest in the School.
  • To keep before Old Boys their duty to assist, particularly younger members, in gaining a foothold in their chosen trades and professions on leaving school.
  • To provide bursaries, prizes and donations for any purpose, scholastic, athletic, or otherwise, connected with the College or the Association.
  • To promote re-unions amongst members of the Association and between members of the Association and between members of the Association and the students of the College within the United Kingdom.
  • To sustain and strengthen the connection between the College and the Association and those eligible for membership thereof.
  • To promote unity and good fellowship amongst members of the Association within the UK.
  • To establish and accumulate a fund for the endowment of the College.
  • To invest and deal with any of the moneys of the Association upon such securities and in such manner as may be deemed fit from time to time.
  • To subscribe or guarantee money for any charitable, benevolent, public, general or useful object.
  • To take such steps by personal or written appeals, meetings, or otherwise, as may from time to time be deemed expedient for the purpose of procuring contributions to the funds of the Association.
  • To print and publish, or cause to be published, any books, newspapers, magazines, pamphlets or leaflets that the association may think desirable for the promotion of its objects.
  • To do all such other things as are incidental to or conducive to the attainment of the above objects.
